Tiny Modular House

Steel-Framed Module to the Netherlands – “Quality Surpasses Central European Manufacturers”

Aulis Lundell Oy's first steel module was delivered to Aalsmeer in the Netherlands, near the capital Amsterdam.

The Dutch architectural firm Enzoarchiteckten aims to strengthen the presence of the Lundell X MOD Tiny Houses concept in the area. By combining and stacking modules, it is possible to create versatile residential and commercial spaces for various purposes.

Traditional house construction ties up labor for long periods – modular construction, on the other hand, significantly shortens the duration of construction projects on-site.

Modular Construction Increases Quality and Reduces Costs

Modular construction can be applied to detached houses as well as row houses, apartment buildings, and public buildings. It is well suited for serial production, which significantly lowers construction costs.

Depending on the nature and requirements of the project, Aulis Lundell Oy can offer contractors and developers ready-made modules, raw modules, or alternatively components, in which case a larger portion of the work is done on-site. This way, Aulis Lundell Oy offers flexible solutions for different projects according to the value chain, accelerating project timelines.

Advantages of Modular Construction

  • Modules are easy to combine into large entities
  • Flexible and relocatable
  • Suitable for hotel rooms, commercial spaces, detached houses, as well as infill and supplementary construction
  • Can be stacked 1–4 stories high without an external supporting structure; technical systems are installed within a raised floor and dropped ceiling without sacrificing ceiling height and are connected according to the specific project
